Who knew that such inspiration could come from Bob Dylan and Pandora Radio just when I needed it?
"Don't think twice, it's alright."
Once upon a time I thought the Amman, Jordan Study Abroad would be the hardest semester of my life.
Wrong.
Somewhere in between working two jobs (that I love), taking 12 credits of Arabic, and pushing through Poli Sci 200 (praying for a B), I forget to not think twice because IT IS alright.
Life is not about worrying, being the best, or suffering.
It is about joy, happiness, and knowing that everything is alright in every moment-- even when it's not perfect (because when do we ever think our life is perfect?)
There are so many things to be grateful for that I often take for granted.
I sometimes find myself being frustrated or stressed about ridiculous aspects of my life.
I often think "twice" about how great my life will be once the semester is over, or once I get a good grade in that one class (hello, 200), etc...
In reality, I am so blessed to lead the life I live.
I wouldn't (and shouldn't) change it for the world.
So "don't think twice, it's alright."
